Nothing is more important than the safety and well-being of those we serve - and of the Kiwanians who serve them. Thatís why Kiwanis International annually presents Youth Protection Week. Youth Protection Week occurs every September. During the week, all Kiwanis clubs should review the Kiwanis youth protection training and evaluate how well theyíre adhering to the Youth Protection Guidelines. Itís particularly important to know the updated policy for criminal history background checks. Click HERE for full details.
Saturday, September 16 - Nickelodeon Worldwide Day of Play

Saturday, October 28 - Kiwanis One Day

Each year, Kiwanis clubs around the world join in a day of service. Kiwanis One Day currently is held on the fourth Saturday of October. In 2017, Kiwanis One Day will be observed on October 28. Kiwanis One Day is a great opportunity to bring together the Kiwanis family of clubs to focus on local community service. Itís an example of our belief that kids need Kiwanis-kids in the community need Kiwanis to provide programs and services no longer available because of school and municipal budget constraints, and kids who want to be in youth clubs need Kiwanis club members as mentors to help them thrive, prosper and grow.
Tuesday, October 31 - Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF

care up some funds and fun this Halloween by participating in Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF. Itís a great opportunity to collect donations instead of candy or to bring club members together for a fabulous event or party. All money collected by Kiwanis-family members through Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF will once again support The Eliminate Project and help save moms and babies from maternal and neonatal tetanus.
