Mayor Petrie Recognizes Kiwanis Club of Emmett

City of Emmett Mayor's Proclamation2018

On Tuesday, May 8, 2018, Emmett Mayor Gordon Petrie recognized Kiwanis Club of Emmett, along with Scott Parks of Emmett Sanitation and Lance Zagaris of Gem County Ministerial Association, for continual participation in community efforts including the Mayor's Spring Clean Emmett program in which our club takes the lead role. Present to accept the certificate of recognition were 6 club officers, directors and the webmaster.

For this year Mayor Petrie has selected two homes whose residents are elderly and physically limited in their ability to clean their properties, which we will do for them in the spirit of Kiwanis Club's objective of service to our citizens and our community. Volunteers are needed and appreciated on Saturday, May 19, when we do the cleanup. Please contact President Marty Fry via e-mail, or call 805-746-6623 for information and to volunteer.

Kiwanis Club of Emmett receives recognition by Mayor Petrie for leadership in service to the city and citizens of Emmett
